Nigerian Labour Law is one aspect of law that touches every aspect of human life in the world of work. As a result of human desire for certainty and predictability hence, the constant changes in law.
The main focus of the Nigerian Labour law is to enrich the learners knowledge in the areas of employment and Labour relations and its attendant problems with focus on current judicial decisions, statutory provisions and providing explanations to many inherent issues in labour relations in the industry.
The Nigerian system under the Nigerian Labour law empowers the employers of labour to hire and fire with or without reasons. The course will make students/learners to understand the operations of law in contract of employment, Trade Dispute and Settlement among others.
