Advanced Economics was introduced at intermediate level to enable students understand and appreciate public and private policies as they affect the economy and international economic relations. At the end of the series students will be able to explain the various private and public economic policies and apply same to real life situations.
The Global Crisis that greeted the Millennium is still taking its toll on many economies of nations. This study seeks to expose the students to advanced micro and macro-economic analysis to enable them understand and appreciate public and private policies and actions as they affect the economy, at the level of the firm at national level as well as international economic relations.
